The first grapes of the 2022 vintage have been plucked from their vines and making their way to winery crush pads to be pressed or crushed to release their juices and begin the fermentation process. This is the season winemaking teams and vineyard crews have been anxiously awaiting for all year. Harvest is arguably wine country's most exciting time of the year. The small towns dotting along the narrow, winding roads come alive and full of action all throughout the day- teeming with all the sights, sounds and aromas of wine country during harvest. 

You'll see harvest crews are out in the vineyards in the wee hours of the morning, harvesting grape clusters one by one, making their way to the crush pad where winemaking teams are sorting and crushing grapes all day, and all night until the last berry is picked.
