Know what the best season is to visit Okanagan Valley and what to wear.
Winter
(November - March) Okanagan Valley experiences mild winters which makes for the best romantic wine country getaway. Plan for winter wear as you'll see temperatures ranging from 21 -34 degrees (-2 C - 10 C) and the occasional highs of 33 - 48 degrees in March.
Spring
(April - May) As winter sets, you'll see a big jump in temperatures ranging from the mid-30s overnight to 68 degrees for daytime temperatures. It's best to wear layers so you can remove a jacket or sweater in the afternoon.
Summer
(June - August) As the days get longer, the temperatures rise in the Okanagan Valley. Overnight temps are typically in the low 50s, while daytime can be in the mid-80s. Depending on the growing season, you may get a chance to experience the harvest-time activities.
Fall
(September - October) Fall in the Okanagan Valley is a sight to see! As the fall colors rush in, the area is humming with excitement as harvest wraps up. You'll enjoy low 70's in September and mid 40's for highs in October.

Traveling to Okanagan Valley
- The closest and most convenient airport to the Okanagan Valley is the airport in Kelowna International Airport (LYW). Daily flights are available, but limited, so we recommend you plan ahead, especially during the peak summer months.
- If you are already in the local area, there's a few different transportation companies that can get you around such as Uber, Lyft and private shuttles can be hired to get you to and from the airport and on your daily excursions.
- Unfortunately there are no public options available to travel to the region. You'll need to view the private transportation options.
