Summer in Seattle
Summers are sunny in Seattle...
You know that it rains in Seattle, right? It’s the proverbial statement said by everyone you mention that you are planning a visit to The Emerald City. That’s OK though because while many people believe the sun rarely makes an appearance here, what we locals know is summer in Seattle is magical.
When I moved here from the southwest desert my uncle Parker told me summer starts on July 15th. Why that date? Because it’s a safe bet of when the skies are blue, and the clouds are far. It’s also the height of travel season when all the major outdoor events are in full swing. Summer concerts, winery white parties, festivals on the waterfront and outdoor patios filled with fur babies are just a few of the ways to kick up your heels or relax in the liquid sunshine.
With over 200+ winery tasting rooms in Seattle and close neighboring towns like Woodinville, plus the 100+ or more breweries and distilleries there is sure to be quite a few places and experiences you’ll not just like but LOVE!
