and plot twists driving the Greening of the Napa Valley. We’ll
explore the yesterday, today and tomorrow of sustainability paired with
Handwritten Wines and bites by Lucy Restaurant.

The interactive forum is co-hosted by LEED Platinum-Certified Bardessono Hotel & Spa. Bardessono pairs luxury and sustainability, integrating efficiency and advanced environmental technologies into design and day-to-day operations while also being recognized by Travel + Leisure as one of the World’s Best Resorts. The forum will take place on the beautiful patio at the resort’s Lucy Restaurant & Bar.
Joining the discussion will be Anna Brittain and John Garn of ViewCraft, who have been the lead consultants for the Napa Green Certified Land and Winery programs for over four years. Also joining will be Michelle Novi, Associate Director of Industry Relations for the Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) and the Napa Green team lead for NVV, as well as Jeri Hansen, CEO of Sustainable Napa County (SNC).
Michelle and John will focus on the yesterday, the history of regional environmental stewardship and Napa Green. Anna and Jeri will focus on the today and tomorrow with Napa Green and SNC serving as leaders facilitating and growing sustainability countywide, and increasing community and consumer recognition of conscientious stewardship practices. Napa Green and SNC believe that together we can make our economy stronger, our environment healthier, and our communities more connected.
Throughout our three-part storyline, we’ll thread what sustainability means to the wine in your glass and the food on your plate. We’ll live by example here, pairing Handwritten Wines with sustainable and organically sourced bites created by Lucy’s new Executive Chef Jim Leiken. Handwritten was inspired to celebrate those who’ve made these projects possible after recently receiving The Good Life Wine Collective’s own Napa Green Winery Certification!
