“OUR STORY IS ONE OF TIRELESS EFFORT,
POSITIVE THINKING, HARD WORK, PASSIONATE CURIOSITY, GRATITUDE AND RESPECT FOR THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE US AND A SENSE OF AWE FOR ALL THAT IS TO COME.
COPIA IS ABUNDANCE.
OUR CUP IS FULL AND WE'RE EXCITED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU ... "

We first visited Paso Robles in the winter of 2015 as part of an educational tour. It was a breath of fresh air. The land, the wine, the people - all had captivated and captured us. Long story, really short: We had to be in Paso.

In 2017, we found our special place: 50 acres among the scenic hills on the westside of Paso Robles in the Willow Creek District. Breathtakingly beautiful slopes and calcareous soils make it an ideal site for us to plant our vineyard to produce world-class wine. We are now embarking on the task of preparing the land and having 20 acres under vine by summer 2019.

Hand in hand, together we're creating Copia, a boutique winery where we’re making wine one small lot at a time. We currently produce just 450 cases of wine using premium sourced fruit, mostly Rhône inspired and from the Willow Creek and Adelaida Districts, Edna Valley and Santa Barbara County. We are happy to share the details of our first release - the 2016 vintage, available right now online and at our downtown tasting room.

Jeb Dunnuck has reported on their 2016 vintage: “… if these first releases are any indication, the future is very bright for this team.”
Enjoy warm hospitality with wine and artisanal cheeses at their elegantly modern downtown tasting room. Private experiences also available upon request.

We had the charcuterie plate with our tasting, our party of eight LOVED it. It was one of our favorite stops during our weekend of wine tastings. Our hostess was amazing, the cheese and other pairings were delicious. It felt like a special event.
