Begin with a tour of our ‘egg farm’ and winemaking facilities followed by a guided seated tasting flight of our estate wines in the cellar. Enjoy a sampling of locally and seasonally sourced cheese, charcuterie and accompaniments.
Tasting fee waived with Insider Club Membership at the conclusion of the experience. Approximately 1.5 Hours.
Located just 4 miles from the Pacific Ocean, Center of Effort produces exceptional Burgundian and Rhône varietals. Visit our historic Edna Valley estate for a private wine tasting experience in our newly remodeled hospitality center.
In the foothills of the western Edna Valley lies our landmark estate vineyard, its roots spanning four decades.Over the years, each member of our winery family has been personally touched by this place in one way or another. We now come full circle, returning to create something special. Our respect for the vineyard and its unique environment is reflected in our emphasis on sustainable viticulture, natural fermentations and other non-invasive, progressive winemaking practices. In order to craft the finest wines possible, we ensure that the highest standards are set at every step in the winemaking process. The resulting wines are, we believe, without parallel. They represent the intersection of caretaking, skill and commitment — truly a Center of Effort. We are honored to share them with you.
This is always our final stop Sunday as we slowly leave town and go back to reality. We had not been in since the new tasting room opened. What a beautiful job they did with the new addition. Tasting in the production facility was always fun but the beauty of the new building is amazing! Obviously we always come for the wine and it did not disappoint. We loaded up are ready for Thanksgiving.
The Center of Effort winery is very special. The Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay are unbelievably great. Have toured many Russian River Pinot wineries and Center of Effort is better than almost everywhere I have visited and tasted. Their new state of the art tasting room is just being completed. Beautiful new outdoor area also. Go for the wine stay for the hospitality.
Your new facility is outstanding, can't wait for grand opening. Private tasting was the best line-up of wines ever, everyone made a purchase.
