San Francisco, CA

CellarPass, the leading wine industry booking and guest management platform, has added the Snake River Valley region to its popular booking platform. The recently expanded ability of the platform now offers the ability to make reservations for hotels, restaurants, transportation and activities/experiences, in addition to renowned wineries and tasting rooms in the nation’s wine regions.

“CellarPass has always been the top choice for making reservations for great wine tasting experiences, but we’ve always wanted to offer a more complete set of travel tools for wine country enthusiasts to get the most out of their visits,” stated CellarPass co-founder Jonathan Elliman. “With the launch of CellarPass 3.0, we have created the ideal portal to wine country.”

Approved in April 2007, the Snake River Valley AVA includes two counties in eastern Oregon and the southwestern region of Idaho, encompassing more than 8,000 square miles at latitudes comparable to many famous wine regions around the world (43°- 46°). Formed more than four million years ago, the Snake River Valley overlays the ancient Lake Idaho bed, which creates its natural boundaries. Within the AVA, the 1,211 acres of planted vineyards are primarily devoted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Viognier, Riesling and Syrah varieties, however, there are 15 total different varietals planted.

Snake River Valley visitors can now create a robust multi-day itinerary, all from within CellarPass.com without jumping from one confusing website to another while, at the same time, taking advantage a myriad of new features, including expert bloggers, suggested trip focuses, insight on the most visited venues, itineraries and more, providing a one-stop shop for creating the ideal visit to the Snake River Valley.

One of the most important features of CellarPass.com is the industry’s most accurate and complete search tool, offering real time information and access to what's available for any upcoming wine country visit.

[ADD NEW QUOTE]“Visiting wine country, even for the most experienced traveler, can often be overwhelming, especially for those visiting for the first time,” added CellarPass co-founder Sarah Elliman. “We wanted to not only offer the ability to create the perfect vacation plan, but we also populated CellarPass.com with great information, tips and veteran insight so that folks are inspired to visit not only the most popular wine destinations, but the terrific emerging wine regions as well. CellarPass.com should be the first stop for anyone wanted to experience wine country.”

Additionally, visitors to the Snake River Valley region on CellarPass.com will be able to take advantage of exclusive offers and experiences only available on the website, including Passport experiences and tickets to special events, all while earning reward points for every reservation honored to use on future visits and experiences.
