CellarPass Offers a Faster, More Seamless Booking Experience for Wineries Using BigCommerce eCommerce Solutions
SAN FRANCISCO, CA
“When we pioneered reservations for the wine industry back in 2009, we quickly partnered with many of the popular eCommerce platforms to provide a seamless guest management experience,” stated CellarPass co-founder Jonathan Elliman. “Over the years, we’ve perfected features that leverage the guest data stored in these systems to help identify, attract and engage more guests, while encouraging repeat visits with fewer clicks”, continues Jonathan.
With more and more businesses looking outside of the industry for eCommerce and CRM solutions over the last couple of years, the number of omni channel solutions servicing the wine industry has more than tripled, many becoming massive enterprises servicing millions of businesses around the globe, BigCommerce becoming one of the leading platforms over SquareSpace.
“Today, we’re pleased to announce that we are now fully integrated with the BigCommerce eCommerce platform that now allows BigCommerce users and their guests the benefits of our real-time club member identification and automated discounting features, exclusive event access capability”, says Spencer Kuhn, Account Manager at CellarPass. In fact, we’ve been able to pioneer some new features because of the API infrastructure BigCommerce provides to partners like CellarPass. So not only will BigCommerce-powered businesses take advantage of many of the same great CRM features we’ve added over the years with other such partners as WineDirect, VinSuite and Commerce7, we’ve introduced new ones that will drive more business per seat than ever before”, says Kuhn.
For businesses that sell online or over the phone using the BigCommerce platform can now easily book reservations for guests without having to look up guests in two different platforms. Simply search for an existing guest stored in the BigCommerce platform within the CellarPass booking interface and guests will be confirmed in half the time. When booking guests that are new to your database, CellarPass will automatically add them to your BigCommerce database.“We wanted to take the integration with BigCommerce a few steps further than others by now syncing products from BigCommerce seamlessly into CellarPass”, says Jonathan Elliman, co-founder of CellarPass. “More than ever wineries and tasting rooms want to be able to pre-sell merchandise ahead of the guest’s arrival and this integration makes that possible” continues Elliman. “Simply look up a product that is stored in BigCommerce within the CellarPass interface and click the sync button and all the details stored with the product will now appear in CellarPass”, says Elliman. Other benefits will be realized when you connect CellarPass to one of the popular credit card payment gateways. Once a guest has added a credit card to their CellarPass profile, whether a reservation is booked over the phone or through your website, guests will be able to choose a card they have stored on their profile, making the process of booking a reservation just a few taps away.
Any current BigCommerce customer that is seriously considering using CellarPass should schedule a demo and receive a walk through of all the benefits of connecting the two systems together for one seamless omni channel platform.
