CELLARPASS ANNOUNCES ENHANCEMENTS TO PROMOTE AND MANAGE TICKET SALES

CellarPass Now Integrates With Popular Credit Card Gateways for Real-time Credit Card Charges

August 13, 2012

ST. HELENA, CA

CellarPass, the leading service to explore, book and share wine country experiences has announced latest enhancements to their reservation system that now offers a cost-effective solution to better manage the sales of tickets to special events year round.

“We spent the better part of our company’s early history learning more about the complexity of managing recurring events and our clients have told us that we’ve excelled at that”, says Jonathan Elliman, Chief Technology Officer at CellarPass. “Recently we’ve had a large increase in requests for streamlining the transaction process and more robust support for selling tickets to special events such as winemaker dinners, concerts and so on”, continues Elliman. “Selling tickets has become increasingly popular and we wanted to make sure that the CellarPass platform can be used for a wide variety of events; whether it’s a concert or one of their daily tastings”, continues Elliman.

As part of this major release, wineries can opt into CellarPass’ new real-time credit card processing engine, enabling wineries the option to immediately charge a guest’s credit card at time of booking which is ideal for effectively managing the transaction portion of ticket sales and tasting fees. The new service currently works with the winery’s own Authorize.net or PayFlow Pro account, making it very easy to integrate with existing transaction systems. Other popular payment gateways will be added based on client demand.
